The school building was opened in 2003 by David Miliband. .

Woodlands is committed to serving its community by enabling every individual to excel.

Woodlands Community College is a maintained mixed comprehensive secondary school within the Southampton Education Authority.

Woodlands Community College has received £294,155 within the school’s budget allocation for the pupil premium.  This funding is used to increase the outcomes for our most vulnerable students. We invest money in making sure we support issues around attendance, literacy, behaviour, progress and attainment and the specific needs of our looked-after children.
