Summer Polo shirts – available now (limited availability)

Following on from last summer’s extremely hot weather, the school has now arranged for the uniform provider Sportswear International (SWI) to produce summer polo shirts, which can be worn from half-term onwards.  Miss Iverson sent a letter home regarding this change back in March, which can now be downloaded here.

Miss Iverson has since sent a further letter of clarification on 7th May, which can be downloaded here.

Stock should be arriving with SWI next week and parents are now able to order these from the SWI website http://www.swischoolwear.co.uk.

Stock of the polos is limited, as the provider cannot guarantee how popular they will be or what sizes are required, so order early to avoid disappointment.

From June 3rd students do not need to wear blazers or ties until the end of the summer term.

FAQs

Item is showing "Out of Stock"?

The polos are currently in pre-order.  Stock is due to be arriving week commencing 6th May.

Am I getting a 3 pack for £6/£8?

No.  Polos are single items.
The original listing on SWI website included a stock/manufacture code (3PC).

This has been removed to avoid any confusion.

Yes, the polo is completely optional and has been introduced as it was heavily requested by students and parents.
There is no need for students to wear blazers or ties from June 3rd until the end of the summer term.

Do students have to wear ties/blazers with polo shirts?

From 3rd of June until the end of the summer-term, students will be able to wear either the polo or a plain white school shirt.
From June 3rd, there is no need for students to wear ties and blazers until the end of the summer term.

The introduction of polos has added an additional unneccesary cost for parents, and put pressure on parents to buy so that their child fits in with other students.

The polo is a completely optional item, which has been introduced by popular parent and student request.

Availability will be limited particularly in year one as SWI build up a picture of popularity and sizing.

Parents who do not wish to buy a polo can send their child in a plain white school shirt.

We anticipate that the uptake in year one will likely be only 50/50 at most, so students will not look out of place if you choose not to purchase.
